It's been a while since I've worked with markers.... This is my 1st attempt to get back into them. This is a fan piece of a character named Tequila from the French comic, Lucha Libre by Jerry Frissen and Gobi. Muttpop made a kickass vinyl toy some time ago based off this character which put him on my radar.

Raised by a mother and father cactus, (or is it cacti?)... Tequila became a heroic wild man of the desert. That is, until he got married. Framed for a crime he did not commit, Tequila recaptures his inner heroic wild man to clear his name.

I'm currently getting ready to sell some work at an anime convention in Las Vegas called Animegacon. Although not an anime or manga, this is one of the pieces that I'll be selling there.
