Description A little self-portrait; reference was a Manipulation by ~tjiesje of an old picture of me.

It's not perfect, but it was a nice way to spend my time and practice my rusty Oekaki skills.

Out of curiosity: What does Eldarwen mean?
It sounds Welsh or Elvish. X

A couple of years ago, when I was just into the Lord of the Rings, I found this Elvish name generator somewhere on the Net. The one coming out for my name (Wendy) was 'Eldarwen', and it sounds a little like my own name, so I used it sometimes, as my nickname. I was also 'known' by SilveR ShadoW, but that one was already taken on dA, so I used Eldarwen. Here you have the story.

It's lovely. My step father was watching LOTR because I was, and suddenly took an interest when the Elves started talking. He could translate chunks of it because it's so similar to Welsh. Xx

Well, sadly Welsh isn't as pretty. Tolkien got rid of the more gutteral sounds in Welsh that sond like German or Klingon. X

I used a tablet, yes. If I had used a mouse, I would've gone crazy. I used to use a mouse, but since I got my tablet, I've given up on mouse-drawing... it hurts my wrist too much. Tablets are awesome though!
