working process Phew... I'm still kinda overwhelmed by this piece ^^ This was the longest time I've ever took to finish one painting, partially because I love the characters so much that I wanted to give them as much justice as I'm able to, partially because I'm on the best way to call my striving for realism a mental illness, and partially because I was lazy and very occupied with criticizing the Game of Thrones story evolvement xD When I realized they were going to add Lethe and Ranulf to Fire Emblem Heroes, two characters I voted for in CYL, I knew I had to draw them. I have very fond feelings for those characters, as my husband and I share a deep connection since we cosplayed them ages ago, after we played POR together. I knew I had to give my very best for this piece to be at least slightly satisfied, and I tool as long as I needed reworking every single part till it was the way I wanted it to be. Some of the details I painted for this piece are actually inspired by the way I made the cosplay, even though the design changed slightly I found it very helpful, that I already invested a lot of thought into the design in the past. By the way, I am more than ready for any "But they can't enter forrests" joke. I was not sure in which kind of enviroment I want to put them till I was halfway finished with the painting just because that thought kinda came to my head once in a while xD So, while I love to rant about all the horrific details that turn my sweet artist-dreams into pure nightmares, I just can't dare to say a single bad thing about this piece. To make sure I don't go mad in a Mary Poppins kind of candy way, let me at least say that I was not satisfied with GoT at all xD Not because they broke the character many people liked (reading the books I think it's actually reasonable), but for the way they did it. So...thats at least a bit of a rant xD

Umm, I mostly use the default brushes, except for stichings and stuff like that, and for the textures I use self-made patterns, which I put on top

0_0 whoa...whoa. There is a LOT of effort and detail you put into this one drawing! I can't comment on everything I want to comment about, otherwise my comment would take a really long time to read...but I need to say some things
You did an awesome job with this! I can see your hard work you did with it. Just with the hairstyles and ears I can see the small details you put in the lines, the coloring, and even the texture that the viewers can see.
The long tails both of them have look really, really well done!
The use of lighting and shading you did in this has great effort put into it. They work well together ^^
The outfits. Both of them. So much was put into the different areas of each outfit! Each character looks content being this close to each other, and I think that is really sweet 
Something I notice is the way you draw eyes and noses. Both the eyes and noses are great to me, and I think the smaller detail of the face marks both Lethe and Ranulf have are nice to see

I'm honestly a bit sad I have to upload the images in a rather small size because of Chinese copy cat print mafia, because there are tons of tiny details that get totally lost in the full painting. That's why I started to post close up shots of my images on Instagram, to show what I've done. I'm honestly impressed you found so many details already at this small size. And I'm also very happy you mentioned the faces, I'll actually talk a bit about it when I post the artistic nude, as I've put especially much effort into portraying their character. This is amazing. I wasn't sure at first if this wasn't just an enhanced photograpy, their faces looked so real. The placement of Ranulf's tail feels a bit weird, though - I feel like it shouldn't be quite that long or like it should be wrapped around her in a different way. Can't really put that into words.

Many thanks. I think in the end it all comes down to just really many hours of work. I actually recorded some of the process for the first time, and I plan to put it on YouTube as a time lapse, but even with 32x speed it would be a multiple hours video, which is why I decided to go only for a small part in the end, which I can cover in ten minutes xD

Dieses Jahr war leider nur am Anfang erfolgreich. Nur einer aus diesem Badefest fehlt mir. Danach hört es aber auch schon wieder auf XD Oster, Picknick und
auch das Brautevent sind ein einziger Reinfall.
