Esmeralda is my favorite all-time heroine. I don't care if she's not a 'classic' traditional princess. She kicked butt. She was also kind. This is a wonderful drawing of her.Β

Yeah he was a dork. I mean the thing that killed me was...she had to save HIS ass, when he falls in the water and she jumped in there. He never saved her from anything. Even when they went to the Court of Miracles it was Quasimodo who figured out how to get there.Β

He was complex, which made him different from most Disney villains, as he already had power and prestige. He just wanted love. And he was so twisted he couldn't even be in love normally.

I don't remember how Carlton died to be honest LOL. I just loved the scenery and Tarzan. I think every villain paled in comparison to Frollo.Β

I love Gaston! But he reminds me of some men at my local gym. I work out a lot and there are occasionally LOL these arrogant, self-centered dudes who wear these skimpy tank tops that are enough to make me think of Gaston and all that chest hair LOL.Β

I liked Gaston's voice. Deep and resonant. And he was funny too..his arrogance was over the top. Β Remember when he said " Well, I guess I better ask Belle to marry me..." after the band is playing and there's that song about him.... Beauty and the Beast is my fourth fave Disney movie...after HoND, Pocahontas, Hercules. But it's a tie between Pocahontas and Beauty and Beauty almost always wins out. I love old-fashioned fairy tales you know?Β
I really liked the Beast. You have to figure, a guy who had everything got really frickin' humbled after he got turned into the beast

i just love gastons character inside out!!!!! and i loveΒ (not in any order)Β HoND, Hercules, Mulan, PocahontasΒ and Beauty and the Beast and im very sad about beast cause the person who played him in the production had to leave for uni and im really sad cause i probably wont see him again -he was an excellent singer though!

Mulan rocked my world because well, as I said, I'm Asian/Hawaiian ( so I also liked Lilo and Stitch LOLOL) and it was like, Disney is getting ethnic here...politically correct yeah, sort of annoying, but...at least they're trying. Β What really killed me was the criticism that Mulan got from ASIANS...they were like, it's insulting and not culturally correct. Well, some of it WAS, I can say that with honesty. And it WAS based on an old Chinese tale/epic poem about a girl who really does disguise herself and becomes a warrior. Β And sometimes I want to scream WHO CARES?? CAN WE JUST ENJOY THE MOVIE FOR FUN IN ITSELF??

i totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its like it just a good film - they made a good film just enjoy it ! its not like they are isulting you! its like half the brititsh character in disney movies are a bit steriotipical (bad teeth posh accents ect) and the worst thing about the english is that in almost every disney movie i have seen, the bad guy is always british - the jungle book, hunchback of notre dame, pocahontas, aladdin, snow white, sleeping beauty, cinderella, tangled, rataouille the list cou;ld actually go on they always us a birtish guy for the villain - even in non disney things but it doesnt really bother me its quite funny i supose we have that sort of dielect

I saw Rataouille with a friend and I loved that movie, it was one of the newer animation films I enjoyed . Β Yes people here in the US really get worked up over things. A long time ago a lot of Arabic people got mad over Aladdin because they felt some of the songs were insulting. I never even think about that kind of thing when I watch a movie because I am there to enjoy the plot, the film and the characters. Granted, some movie movies can be racist or offensive, but on the other hand, if you have that kind of mentality and you pick apart everything you will never be able to truly enjoy it!

Well I love the British villains. I think Peter Cushing, and of course Christopher Lee...the 'bad guys.' But the one guy I really liked was Jason Isaacs, who played Tavington in the US movie THE PATRIOT with Mel Gibson. I always usually wanted the villain to win anyways. And then he got that role of Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter
