How I spent my day: Mike Chilton's jacket, stage two. It's 90% done and just wants a zipper.For some reason the blue fabric came out really bright in the pictures. It's actually quite dark [link] Then again, I know almost as much about nuclear physics as I do about photography, so the fault probably lies with me and not the camera.
The stripes down the front seem extra wide, but that's just so I can put in the zipper when it arrives.

It didn't take me long to construct - not including drying time for the glue, the patch probably took a little over an hour to figure out and sew. The jacket took me less than a day to cut out and sew. The hardest part of the project for me was getting the materials - I live in a very isolated area and fabric stores are few and far between. I expect the zipper to arrive tomorrow or Tuesday (another rare beast - orange zippers) and it should be finished by Wednesday.
