bad constructin of heads spoils...mmm...everything, because thre's nothing but faces.
you need some tutorials in human anatomy and, maybe academical drawing of head to learn how to use the light colours right way to show the volume
but i like their hair and mood of the girls) i think you're on the right way!)

Nice work on the normal skin. Here's a tip for doing nontraditional skin tones, use the opposite skin tone as the under tone for darker areas. use like... a 10% opacity on a brush and i'd say use a dark red, nearly brown, and use it in layers to make the darker areas darker. and then with the lighter areas I would suggest a light green and do the same thing. Also, don't be afraid of using black lightly and white. That being said, this is cool.
