All right. I'm starting to scare myself.Anyone who knows me well has heard of both my affinity for transformers and my deep and abiding love of children's television. (It's the inevitable result of being a nerd dad of young kids.) This is the horrific result of my twisted brain: the amalgamation of two highly popular entertainment franchises that both feature anthropomorphic vehicles.
I'm pretty sure the Rev. Awdry is rolling over in his grave right now.
This pic is all vector, and took me a disgusting amount of time to complete. Those fake 'transformers' letters alone were hours of work. I do like the result, though.
Addendum: When my son saw this picture, he looked a little confused and said "Daddy, why Thomas is turning into a robot?"
"Because it's a funny idea that daddy had," I answered.
He processed that answer. "I want to buy that Thomas," he then added. "It is a toy and I want to buy him."
If only we could...

Well, you are 100% right there. If I did the head at the real size ratio, it just didn't work right. Mea culpa. I fudged it for effect. But if you're looking for super-authenticity in Thomas/Transformers fan art, well... It's not here anyway.

I ku mean about it being "scary" though I can't blme you for your love of childrens cartoons. I've got a Fairly Odd Parents fetish and plan to do a comic crossover with that cartoon some day.

Fairly Odd Parents is a good show, though I haven't watched much yet, because my kids are a bit young for it yet. But yeah, most of my TV watching consists of Yo Gabba Gabba and the like. And you know, the kids' shows today are REALLY really fun and well done. Compared to the stuff from my childhood, these are wonderful.
