Description well i've been working on this for a while now, and i believe it is somewhat decent, although i might repost one later if i can touch it up a little.

while this may look like a birds eye view of the ground with a fish eye lens, it's not. i started off with a 360 degree panorama and then just lowered the camera and kept going around till i was taking pictures of the legs of my tripod. there's about 75 seperate pictures in here total. after stitching some things together i made it rap around till both ends met.

this is me standing in the center of campus here at ferris state university. you can't really tell but the legs of my tripod are in the center of the picture.

the center looks sorta off becouse of the way i was shooting strait down at the ground. it's a lot like trying to acurately display a flat map of earth; something is going to be distorted. this was as good as i could get it, although i may go at it some more later. i couldn't really think of anything to do with the background so i just put a white border to square it up. i wish you could see more detail, but i think it's better to see the whole peice than the crazy detail.

sony dsc s85 and lots of stuff in photoshop.

wow. the 360 degrees looks very effective. It must have taken ages to stitch the photos together

yeah, i think i spent about 14 hours or so stitching and tweaking. but most of that was waiting form my computer, the photoshop file was over 400 megs and it took quite a while to apply effects and things.

i wish i had things like this while in photo class. i just sort of came up with the idea and way to stitch it together and then went out and took a bunch of pictures.

thanks for the comments.

Incredible. I love how accurate this is, especially with the lines radiating from the center of the piece. Honestly, I don't even have a problem with this at all.
