Description Lightning....Or not, as the case may be. Saw this tree on the way to Bedford on Saturday, so yesterday, I went back to take some shots of it. This, as you may have guessed, is one of them.

Just upped the contrast, and added a yellow filter.

Yellow being my way of jumping on the band waggon saying thanks to °jark for making DA happen.


White artifacts removed from around the edges, as suggested by *lordstench

Very very cool. Eerie, even. Have you ever tried reversing the colors so that the branch is that yellow? Could be cool to try.

this is a simply amazingly fantastic shot! the capture here is almost ambiguous in nature (as the title suggests). nature has a way of getting it's message across in so many ways, and this says it all, from colour to composition you've presented your view so well! great work instant

i think its cool.
the yellow is a little too yellow i think, it looks a bit vile.
i don't know...i would make it a bit fainter personally, so that it is more like a toned b/w shot, than a b/y shot.


just my opinion.
and yeah. cool idea behind it too, the lightning thing works for me! good work.
