Haha! It's Peridot! YES.
You got her amazingly to be honest, the color and the strokes are on point, and the expression is so unlike her that its almost as if its ironic or amazing that we get to see this side of her. Pretty good I must say. You made her a little wider around her torso, but there isn't anything wrong with that at all. The tones are perfectly contrasted and you can tell apart her clothes from her body, as well as her features and her outlines.
Definitely a little less on the shading side, but that's forgiven considering the way you drew this. It's usually pretty challenging to draw actual appropriate shading that works on traditional pieces, such as this one. Maybe a some shadows or even a simple background might have helped, but since it doesn't look like it needs it that much, I'll let it go.
Keep it up, and stay creative! Lots to improve on, but you're on the right track.

Thank you so much! Yeah, the pencils I used aren't THE best when it comes to shading, haha. Plus my scanner loves to wash out the colors. :/ Thank you for your constructive critique and I'm sorry for the late reply!

Heya! I'm here from ProjectComment !
First of all, nice character choice I love Peridot so much!
I really like the soft green you used to make this. It works really well her character and is just a nice shade in general to look at!
I can really tell you have been studying anatomy for a long time because ever exaggeration looks deliberate. You must have also took time to study the style of Steven Universe because this looks like it would fit right into an art book from the show!
I really like the effects the texture that you used on her hair! It adds depth that a lot of drawings of Peridot don't have!
I understand that this is a sketch and probably doesn't reflect your best work, but if you're open to constructive criticism, then here it is!
Your shading seems a little inconsistent on her clothes(?sorry i don't know the gem term for them?). It looks like you were only using one pencil, so it makes sense that you wouldn't be able to get a lot of contrast in, but dramatic darks and lights really make a picture pop! If you added some darker green to the areas where light hits the least, it would probably improve this sketch a lot!
Overall, cute work!Β Β

Hi! Sorry for the late reply!Β
Thank you! I love her, too! Why, yes I have! Of course nothing beats the cartoony touches I'm glad you've noticed. XD Oh, thank you! They have an adorable style and I appreciate that compliment! !
Oh, haha! I'm open for constructive criticism! Ah, I used two green shades in this, but they are hard types, not soft types...not to mention my scanner washes out my colors. But, you are right and I thank you for your input, it helps a lot for my future works.
Thank you!Β

I think the best part about this piece without a doubt is just Peridot's expression. From the way she looks alone, I'm able to perfectly picture her adorably awkward, quirky personality. For some reason, I see her either trying to say something funny to Amethyst, or saying something awkward to Lapis; I imagine her feeling quite proud of herself no matter who it is. I also like that you have a lot of variation in the greens that you use; it's easy on the eyes and matches how she looks in the show. Honestly, looking at her pointing finger, I can't help but imagine she's trying to use her mental powers. I know "Too Short to Ride" aired about a month before this drawing, but I think it would be really neat to see a small object like a stick or perhaps her tablet even levitating in the air. My curious side just can't help but picture that.

Oops. I meant "Too Short to Ride" aired a month after you did this drawing, not before. <_<
I'm glad you like my idea though! :3Β
