Hmm … Probably wouldn't be a smart move … but feel free to imagine!   Note that if you enlarge the image to full size, it looks like one of Josh's fingers might be close to the creature's inner thigh, but only because that is where the creature is standing.  Also note that the restraints on Josh's arms are very loose, so Josh could move his arms if he needed to.  The band around his waist, however, is likely to keep him in place for a while.

well actually, at first i was just wondering what that blackish stuff with greenish boundary strip was, in the creature's crotch.  Maybe some sort of chain mail crotch covering?  Anyway, the interpretation I then seized on was that that stuff could be Josh's gloved hand, maybe because he intentionally put it there, or maybe because the creature moved himself there.

Nah, I just used Paint.net to convert the render to a simulated ink sketch.  One of the artifacts is small dots all over the image.  I then blend that with the original image (separate layers), as it often both brightens and makes the image look more realistic.

Very imaginative!  Pass the test, be released early, and join the leadership team.  Fail and have your memory wiped.

As Josh is essentially helpless, he would have little to gain from panicking.  If the creature doesn't "do him in", the plot will only thicken.  Or, as Josh is rumored to be a human-alien hybrid, could this be a "Josh, I am your father" situation?
