Round 8: Into the Fire!
Well...technically I should be freer than how I was during R7 , but due to being busy during lunar new year holidays, this is all I can manage within the deadline >v>

Hmm at least this time there ARE alternate storylines and flashbacks! Tried to focus on character development this time. Man this is hard ;v;
You need to complete both sides of missions to get a full picture on what happened on the island, so try to complete this at least 2 times :3c

I wanted to try using more traditional media this time, because it seems to be more efficient for me to draw on paper.
However it doesn't seems to work well, and makes everything looks messy instead >_> Probably because I have poor scanning skills, and can't unify the sizes of objects at all ;v;

And just like last time, the layout design is inspired from the Persona series and Mawaru Penguindrum .
I still need to actually play the games someday ;v;
And the massive amount of references used is because...there was meant to be a treasure-hunting game where you get trophies for clicking on the references. Guess I ended up having no time for that :I

Last but not least, a huge thanks to ~FrozenRevolver for being so supportive, and withstanding all of my grumbles throughout the whole making process!

Well at least I did try to get the boat designs synced... =w= Noticed that Neko's and Rhea's boats are broken down in the sea scenes here.
And Harvey's boat is based on...well...a free Pokemon sketch request for the first one who figured out the reference!

Having a boat that uses a renewable resources:
...Does Pokemon motors counts? We have a Wash Rotom and a Ditto there :3c

Actually Showing a Panel or picture competing in the race with your boat:
This scene is shown from the beginning. I'm pretty sure about this -v-

Making a point of retrieving the mysteriously important medicine:
This is included as one of the mission you can do~

Having at least one scene wearing Shorts:
