Description
Hello, my name is Katie and I will be your tour guide today/this afternoon/this evening for the "Elementalist-1's (Katie's) Drawing Process" tour.If you look to the top of the screen you will see the very first draft. This draft is the Basic Idea Copy, done before any references are searched for and before any definite art-style is chosen.
If you are clever enough to deduce the fandom this picture is for then very good job! If not then don't worry, it's for the Mighty Ducks fandom, illustrating a flash-back scene from a story entitled "From the Outside Looking In" (it's filled with Dive-abuse, the poor guy) which can be found here: [link]
You will notice that it is in pencil, although there are marks from a black-ink-pen. There are many pensil-markings all over the page saying various notes and comments. I shall translate all the markings (in no paticular order).

There are more notes on another sheet of paper, those notes have yet to be translated. And as you can see there is still much to do at this stage, I'd take you to the next exhibit but I'm afraid it is still under construction. I hope you understand and have a nice day.
If you would like a better look at this piece you can click on the "download" button at the left-hand side of your screen.
Non-tour-guide-speech: Yeah, this is the first stage of my process. I've had so many different ideas of how I wanted it to look, but this was the one that my pencil let me scribble. There are some innacuracies I have to fix (the building is way too tall for example), but hopefully I will be able to finish the process, giving a step-by-step update. This part might be scrapped when all of the parts are done.
EDIT: Also, thanks to Daniel Nelson for having a picture of a shocked Jar-Jar in his PowerPoint presentation today, I used Jar-Jar's expression as reference for the expression idea in the upper-right hand corner of the page. Thanks Dan!
