Many gryfons and gryfesses were sent into exile or refused the rule of the new kings. As one of the pride's healers, Sigrun remained to care for her fellows. Some Vanir were forced into mating with their conquerors, but Sigrun fell in love with the honorable Caj despite all, and they are true mates to the end.

Oh, gosh, that's such a big question honestly. I recommend reading the kind of books you want to write and make mental notes. I would hop on writersdigest.com and start reading as many articles as you can handle. Don't try to make the first draft perfect. Get the story out, then you can revise to make sure the plot makes sense, the characters are consistent and so on. Have a few people read it who will give you honest feedback. Ask them if the story made sense, if they felt connected to the characters and if they cared what happened in the end. Listen to their feedback and if you agree, make changes to make the book better.
