Okay...My first EVER Tutorial that I randomly mentioned doing for this summer.
I'm sure I left out steps or mixed something up, but here it is...
Many groups don't allow "Bad Scans" of images, because it just makes the art look poor and amateurish, no matter how hard you worked at it.
So here's a step by step of how to clean up your bad scans, camera images, and what-have-you.
I have a Mac, and I used the "Preview" program. No matter what photo viewer you have, even if you don't have a painting or photoshop program, chances are that you'll have the equivalent to the tools I use here. The main four are: Cropping, Grayscale (also called "Saturation,") Brightness, and Contrast.
That's all I did! Using just those four tools, you turn a muddy yellow image into a fairly attractive piece of dA art!

Really good O_O Just buuusy. We were house sitting, and I spent that whole weekend packaging and shipping books <3 <3 then I got sick o_O Then it was Thanksgiving and next week I have a book party in my town!
