"You see that strange looking machine walking around? I don't know about you but it gives me the willies. Says it's name is Volt, some kinda Proto Generational machine or some kinda techno babble. Seems polite enough but I swear it can say some fowl things when mad. I've even seen it's eyes change color depending on it's mood. And those "teeth" look like they could bite fingers off. Ah but I can't stay mad at him, after all he seems to mean well enough. I just wouldn't want to get on his bad side. After all, firebolts are nothing to scoff at."

After asking the opinion of my discord group, I decided to post the drawing of my Protogen OC here. He may not be a traditional Protogen but theirs a reason for it. You see I want to use him as a DnD character, essentially a reskinned Warforged, but normal Protogens are too advanced. So I "downgraded" the design so it could fit the setting. Now instead of using a visor and being a cyborg he is completely mechanical and has an independent mouth, nose, and eyes.

The eyes change color and have lids that allow him to show different emotions while having tempered glass lenses. The mouth is a metal jaw that can open and shut in a similar way to a dragon or kobolds. The main difference being that the space between the upper and lower jaw has light shining through that, thanks to an internal mechanism, can change his expression from a smile to a frown. Visible joints can be seen on the arms and legs with the fur on his body being wolf fur that was bound to him through magic. I imagine the robotic segments on his body would be made of Iron, Steel, Brass etc. instead of plastic and that his claws would be made of the same material. The shutter on his belly allows him easy access to his internals so he can make repairs and make general up keep. In terms of color though he would have more natural colors, grey fur, polished/tarnished metal for his chassis, the only difference being his eyes that would change according to his mood.

Sky Blue=Empathetic
Deep Red=Angry
Bright Red=Lived
Pink=Embarrassed
Green = Disgusted
Orange=Happy
Purple=Confused
White=Scared/Pain
Black=Unconscious

One thing I should probably note is that he has no sense of libido or sex drive nor does he have any sexual organs or equivalent. I mention this for those out their with the wrong idea, you know who you are. And as for a personality He would be a cross between commander Data from Star Trek, and the Bipolar Tourette's plagued on ship AI that is Ordis from Warframe. Him being an intelligent, curious, knowledgeable artificial being that wants to help out the best way he can with him also being prone to mood swings and out bursts when expressing his other emotions. His class would be Artificer with him eventually becoming an Armorer forming battle armor that would make him more combat capable. His spells would consist of weapons that either are attached to his body much like the weapons in the Armored Core series or would be integrated into his body like iron man. An example would be that to cast firebolt he would open his mouth and launch it like a cannon or for shatter he would launch a concussion rocket from a shoulder mounted launcher.
