Description
I learned how to draw zentangles at a summer camp I went to last year - they're really a lot of fun and some of the designs are absolutely fantastic. No idea how long this took... I worked on it on and off over the last month or so, I think? Maybe three weeks? Something like that.
Drawn on printer cardstock with Faber-Castell pens.

Very inspiring. I was taken by zentangle after purchasing an adult relaxation coloring book, now I draw my own. Haven't uploaded any, but this is beautiful!

Oh well I love this! I just started doing zentangle myself and I'm new to this site so I'm just getting to learn everything! Only problem is my pictures came out blurry. How do you get yours to come out so clear?

Hey! Welcome to the world of zentangling. I believe this was actually a scan, but as far as taking photographs is concerned: Try and have something to set/balance your camera on, to help reduce hand shake and keep everything in focus. But when it comes to 2D traditional artwork that's just drawn on cardstock, like this was, a scan is really the best way to get a sharp image. :>

Thank you. Right now I'm using my crappy phone camera but hopefully soon I'll get something better. I was looking at your work. You're very talented. I just started doing zentangle for a year now. It's very therapeutic for me. Even tho the photos are crappy they look awesome. Especially when I frame them. The drawling to the left I'm getting ready to mail to a friend in California and I'm working on another one atm for my best friend. I really enjoy art in general and look forward to seeing your work on here.

Wow. I wish my eyes could work like that. I really admire people who can layer intense details. Very cool, Zentangle.

I'm not familiar with that... these're so much fun to do, though. I really recommend googling zentangles or finding books of designs.

It's a movie. You can check it out on youtube.
I will look them up. 8D I'm sure doing these are WAY more fun than taking notes in my art history class. XD

I'll keep an eye out, thanks!
Yeah, the simpler designs are really easy to remember and it's sort of meditative. Which is probably where the 'zen' part comes from... But I adore them, I really do.
