Description
So today I got my first tablet EVER! *excited*So this was my first attempt at drawing anything with the tablet period, it was pretty hard actually
Hopefully I can get some time to practice more and more with this tablet.
I used my OC's sister Tiana as a quick doodle to test out the tablet and how it works. Shading took me like 5 seconds so I'm aware its awful XD

it looks pretty good. i used Nessa's one day and i got annoyed, i drew and colored the eyes then i couldn't figure out how to draw the rest so i gave it to her to do whatever with, it turned into the bat. according to her you get used to it but i was like "ummm, here ya go!" *runs away*

Thanks. At first it is real confusing, even my dad who masters anything related to drawing pretty quickly struggled with it when I gave it to him to test it out. I'm still trying to work out the kinks with it and in a way I'm some what STARTING to understand how it works. Still hard though ><

Oh dang. How hard was it compared to drawing with a pencil? The lines thicker because it's not as precise?

Yeah, compared to it, you don't have your eyes on the tablet itself like you would on paper, you have to draw while looking up at the screen (and hope your doing it ok). It does have an option for you to hover so you know where your going to put the cursor to draw but it's still difficult at the start. Since your working with GIMP the lines are all up to you weather you want them thin or thick but it also depends on size of the canvas and omg >< yeah it's gonna take some getting used to

Yeah, there's no actual screen on the tablet, so it's not the same as drawing by hand. You're drawing blind in a sense. It's like learning a new skill.

"drawing blind" that's a good way to put it. Hah I like that, I'm going to use that. But yeah that's basically how it is
