I've been thinking about elements in relation to mice, 'cause I like elements a lot and I like mice a lot. So I started drawing some mice in elemental kinda costumes and they're all very silly but yes, we know I'm silly already.

This is supposed to be part of a larger picture with all the elements but I decided to submit each piece of it separately just because I take forever at coloring anything and everything and I didn't want to spend my whole winter break on just this one thing. So...so bear in mind this is supposed to be kind of a background element with a sun and moon and junk and...stuff. I thought about just showing the mock-up for it but then there would be no lame surprises left.

ANYWAY. There is also an Earth/Air one and a Fire/Water one in the works, and if they are ever finished I will put them all together into one slightly less lame picture. I think. Maybe. I'd like to at least finish the Earth/Air one 'cause I do like Earth!Minnie.

As for my choices in elements...Mickey's basically all the masculine elements, those being Day, Light, Air, Fire, what have you, and Minnie's all the feminine ones, as in Night, Darkness, Earth, and Water. Didn't just do it for the genders, though, I think they match up pretty well. Mickey's all the bold, honest, open, playful, aggressive, noble, spirited, powerful, light-hearted, assertive, shifty, flighty, air-headed, irrational, jump-right-in, I'm-gonna-see-the-woooorld elements and Minnie's the nurturing, down-to-earth, comforting, rational, healing, passive, passive-aggressive, secretive, subtle, gentle, stubborn, cautious, domestic, look-before-I-leap, now-let's-not-get-excited elements.

As usual there's lots of things wrong with this but I will only say beads oh god Minnie's beads, I'm sorry, I was tired, I will make them better if I ever finish the whole shebang.

There. 8| *Reads everything* ...I've lost my mind. These are just cartoon mice, I don't know why I get worked up about what I do with cartoon mice. Yeah. Yeah, if I need to stop drawing mice you guys will tell me, eh? Okay. Good. *Backs away slowly*
