hehe I had a baby donkey in my village when I was a child, he was so cute I was playing with him all day, running in the meadows with it, oh it was pure fun

Oh, you really missed a lot. I was like a cowboy, you know Waking up with dawn, taking the cows to meadows and mountains to graze, come home with them at sundown running after them when they leave the herd. At summer holidays, of course.

I would have loved that as a child, I was a real tomboy, girls sitting in the sandbox were boring to me, so I was running around with boys doing more exciting stuff

Hahaha, Lena the tomboy! :grin: I liked those kind of girls, they were fun
About the grazing thing; it was a hard job, but I handled it. At least it was more exciting than carrying the barley which my grandfather cut (don't know if I could explain it well in english )(harvesting stuff, you know, crops and the like) I wish my parents took me to seaside places once in a while though, at least I could learn to swim then. Now I know how to graze the cattle, cut and carry crops from the fields; maybe these will prove more useful in the future though, one can not know

yep, you never know Well, I grew up at the seaside and I can swim! And even though we lived in the city my parents had a little patch of land 30 min from town and we used to go there every weekend in the summer coz we were growing our own veggies, berries and flowers there! And after giving our patch some attention (water and getting rid of weeds) we would drive to the sea afterwards and have a swim! Good times...

Remember the contest I told you? I gave up. Can't finish it until the deadline. Now I'm doing an acrylic painting. No deadlines, more relaxing, helps me better. If I had more time, maybe I could finish it. But I don't want to submit an unfinished piece, so I'm painting to my liking, better this way

that's okay with me, I am not very much into contests either - I prefer to paint what I want when I want it But I think you should finish that OC anyway one day, just for yourself and because I would really love to see it! I am going out for the whole day, will be looking out for some more photo opportunities
