may touch up a lil more on the comp before printing. But omg the nostalgia! After rewatching the series in both Japanese and English, I just had to draw art for it, cuz there is surprisingly not that much at there for this series. ._.;

Aw! Thank you! It sucks there isn't much for CCS particularly (I see more for Tsubasa now), because I love Yue. .. and there's not much out there on him either. haha

oh definitely! Old school ftw! 90s was the golden age for anime (and cartoons in general), so much good stuff then. I still think today's anime still doesn't hold a candle to what we grew up with.

Oh there's definitely good stuff these days. I really enjoy Bleach and Lucky Star (way different genres I know ^^:: ) But yeah, there's just something about the 90's, particularly the animation style, that I love.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong there are some good enjoyable shows, but iunno if there's anything recent that I've watched that really amazed me to the point as some of the shows back then. Most notably that I could think definitely great show is Rurouni Kenshin. And I think the animation quality back then was much better.
And Bleach has been running for quite a while xD iunno if I'd really count that as recent even though it's still currently running haha Some of the early 2000s shows were still good. Getting later than that it gets harder to impress me. haha

I still count bleach as modern because the anime debuted in America when I was a freshman in college. But yeah it's definitely going for a while and I gave up on the anime due to all the filler.

Yeah it's like 2000 or 2001 it came out so technically out of the 90s era. Unfortunately I never got into Bleach back then. And not really interested in getting into it now. I think out of the three major never-ending shonen series Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece, I'm quite happy with just sticking to one piece (strange enough only got into the show last year hahaha I'm very slow to join the fandom. xD) That one is a really good show and actually kept me going through 500+ episodes.

I watched the 4kids dub until the Alabasta (Alabaster?) arc started and then gave up. I never liked it much anyway and the 4kids editing I'm sure didn't help, but I just didn't like the premise or characters. Naruto was only good for me until the Chunin arc, then Narutards killed it for me ^^:: So Bleach is the only one untainted for me.

oh god the unspeakable dub. thank god 4kids is dead and funimation redid the dub. I originally read one piece in shonen jump years ago so i looked forward to seeing the anime... and then i saw the 4 kids dub, dumped it immediately and never touched it again, until fate would have it i decided a year ago to watch it from episode one in jap. with subs. after sticking around i really got into it so yeah.. still got a little bit left to catch up xD hahaha But I guess it's just where your personal experiences lead you
