Description
I created the initial concept of kites, to have something joyful and colorful at the festival, and working with two friends we further designed the concept and made a model which was chosen with others to be implemented at a small local festival.
The concrete part they are in is about 6 ft tall and the tallest kite is about 13 ft above that. The colors are simply fabric sewn into an aluminum border, and they are attached to rebar that we had fun bending on a tree.
