Ah ... thank you. A good pot!

I have only used earthenware so far, but have decided to try stoneware paper clay so that my pieces can be put outside. Well that is the plan anyway.

what pieces do you plan on putting outside?

So that I can enter the outdoor exhibitions, my theory is to have a go at making torsos that you can hang on walls outside. As an experiment a broken one that I repaired has been outside for several months and survived well, but they are earthenware and not supposed to. I have got some stoneware paper clay which I shall try. Also the middle of my wreaths cos I thought they might look good on garden walls? Well we shall see ...

What clay/glaze do you use please?

Thank you, The clay body is a white stoneware. The green is actually a black slip applied to greenware that turns dark green with cone 10 Shaner's Clear over it.

thanks! it's actually black slip with a clear glaze over it. If it was glaze I don't know how I'd remove it from the carvings.
