Description another assignment. this professor knows how to create interesting assignments. we were each given a different section of a book written by Dali to read. we then had to do a portrait of ourselves based on what we read, and write a letter to Dali as if he was alive. This would have been better in colored pencil, but time did not permit. Dali was strange, I cannot remember all of what I read but he had very in depth thoughts on bread that carried over like 5 pages. He also threw chicken at the ceiling. Oh and The Persistence of Memory was completely finished before Dali added the clocks, it was just a landscape that didn't seem right to him so one day he just decided to add them because it needed something. That's why in my drawing the one clock does not have complete numbers. Here's the letter I wrote:

Dear Dali,
I am trying to connect with you on a personal level, but you are making this a difficult task. You are very full of yourself and your ideals. You act as if you are superior to other people despite the fact that you are poor. Why do I even bother if I am incomplete in comparison to you no matter what I do?

I don’t know whether to think that you are an interesting individual that I would have the pleasure of knowing, or if you are just an ass. Regardless, you are welcome to throw chicken at my ceiling any time. It would be an enjoyable endeavor. I’ll make sure it is lathered in barbeque sauce so that we could make out the figures and shapes created on the ceiling. However, the rest of dinner will be served approximately 36 minutes after your leave, on account of your inscrutable tendencies of making people wait. How dare you? You enjoy time to take in the splendor of your surroundings on your trips to Port Lligat, but it is okay to waste the time of others, to leave them waiting. That is not acceptable, now it is your time to wait. You may have taken notice of the fact that my drawing appears incomplete. I give you this drawing so that you can anticipate the missing parts. The rest is there, you just can’t know and see it. It’s my secret.

P.S. I’m taking back bread. It is not yours, it is not Dalinian and it doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to the people and you did not create it.
