Updated general reference of Kami - or officially Tōrimichigami/ Michigami meaning God of One’s way/ path, or God of the Way.

If you haven’t been privy to his many previous submissions, Kami is a Shinto god of Journeys and safe travel who “predominantly” resides at the base of Mt-fuji in the centre of Aokigahara. His job is journeys in both the literal term (making sure hikers are kept safe) and figuratively (of the mind); as such he helps in a lot of suicide preventions either by way of killing ayakashi/ yokai/ dispelling negative energy, or appearing to those undecided on their leaving. He’s trying to clean up his forest and the horrible stigma attached to it. He never judges however, and if ones pain is great enough will even assist in death, making sure the individual is guided to the other side with clean, happy and straight souls (Koshinto principles).

Aside from this he travels around Japan, answering wishes and exorcising nasties with his Priest, Yasuhiro.Most of the time he’s not so wise and godly though, rolling around under Yasuhiro’s feet demanding attention and begging for sweets. He’s a full time child.
