Heart event between Todd and ~Relaji 's Abbigale~

When he felt the pressure of her own forehead pressing against his, those brown eyes revealed themselves. Her bright red eyes were only an inch or two away, staring up into his own. As the new words slipped from her tongue, he saw those lovely eyes narrow. Her words were soft, but the tone had an edge.
No one would mourn her, she had said. People of the islands would throw some festival to hold every year. The day the Mightyena was killed by Mightyena. It was a bitter thought, and he didn't believe any of it. He would mourn her, even if it was just him, he would have worn black and carried flowers to her grave.
She gave a pound to her chest, he heard but didn't look away. Her voice pressing on, her lips getting a little closer, but he was too distracted by the garbage she was spewing. He would be better off without her? Who knows, maybe he would be, but now that she was in his life, he didn't care. He thought he was better off with her there. He liked her small moments that veered from her usual scowling tactics. And, sometimes, he liked her normally smirking face too.
There was movement again between her words. From his peripheral vision he saw her point to the forest. To where they had been attacked.
He hadn't been as hurt as she was. If Abbigale hadn't dived from nowhere, Todd would be Mightyena chow by now. A tasty meal who was too weak to put up a fight. A dinner that a Poochyena could learn to kill from.
Questions were drifting on her voice now, floating along. It was the kind of question he couldn't answer again. Although, those seemed to be her favorites to ask.
The scarlet of the eyes changed, the sharp tang gone and replaced with something Todd wasn't familiar with. Her words grew softer with the next question and then Todd heart flopped dead in his chest.
Her lips, those pale pink lips, were pressed to his. They were soft but a little dry, not that Todd cared in the least at this moment, or ever would. And too soon her lips pulled back, forming a single soft word, why.
"I-I don't know why you would protect me," His voice was soft in return, his heart pounding back to life in his chest, nerves seeping into every nook of his body. "But I do know I would mourn you if you were gone. Life wouldn't be the same. I don't know why I'm different, but I," His eyes wavered from each of her own, his heart working harder than ever before. "I have some idea," And he closed the distance this time. His own lips pressed to her's. His face red, his mind fuzzy. Oh Harvest God and Goddess, what was he doing!?

Fffff Oh look, a fluffy tail to hide some of my anatomy issues~~ -v-
Anyway, a post or two on, she continues to kiss him back, put her hand up on his neck and leading to this drawing xD

P.S. I hate kisses....dang lips.
