This is a piece that was a rough pencil layout by my good friend & mentor, Barry Blair. He was working on putting together a new steampunk fantasy series, Realm Walkers, and wanted me to do finishes on the book. This was the first time we'd worked together on a piece since about 1995 when I had been working on various Elfquest comics with him.Related content

Hah! Inking Barry is a lot of fun. I still have a few of his pencils/layout pieces to ink. Next time I see you, I'll give you some of my print stuff. Should have done it this weekend, but Sunday turned out to be a lot crazier than I had expected!

I worked with Barry way back when doing some inks on a few books of his, he was kid enough to let me even tho I wasn't that good back then.
