This is tremendously impressive. The alien's exoskeleton was always supposed to be smooth, shiny and chitinous, like some sort of nightmarish insect, and your vivid, finely-detailed linework, combined with the meticulous colouring and lighting, gives the creature exactly the right look. Great pose and use of shadow, too – as a whole, it's a properly scary image.

wow man fantastic job u did there!! I love that shiny look u gave the xeno.
only one thing_it would look even more cool if u would show the whole tail (I mean the part over the head)
u probably wanted to gave the tail the look that it disappears in the shadow-but I think it would look better 2 show the whole tail-but thats just my sight of the things.
