Art for Android: Netrunner. Bank Job.
Volver a ver Blade Runner, volver a oir Vangelis, fué genial re-visitar el pasado para hacer estos monillos del futuro.

Gabriel Santiago, the character in the illustration here, is supposed to have a robotic right arm, not left arm. So on the Netrunner card "Bank Job" they flipped this illustration.
I've wondered how this mistake ended up happening. Probably the Art Director didn't specify to the artists which arm was the robotic one.

Hi Striatic, to be honest, i never knew about this before, probably a mistake and they fix this without much troubles, i did this art based in a description and some references of the character, maybe the person behind to care for the continuity detect this after the final art deliver and choose the fast solution, regards!

Good question! . Well, im not the writer of the game, but in my mind, this guy is checking him bank personal account, like Val Kilmer in the movie El Santo, after each steal. The idea to show real money in a future is cause the genre Cyberpunk, in this game have a emphasis of combinate a close future with the years 40s. Regards

Wow... It's amazing! One thing is that it should be a cat in the backround! That would be perfect

El teclado-proyector es épico (y por cierto, ya existe).
Pero lo que más me gusta es la pistola con el neón rojo a lo FarCry 3 Blood Dragon

this looks great. Did you take much inspiration form David Sarif of Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

I don't understand how the hologram and laser keyboard affect how he works but I guess you were trying to give off a futuristic vibe, and applaud you, because you have accomplished just that.

I would say how it makes sense to me but I have the feeling you'd rather not have a long explanation.

For some reason the first thing I thought of when I was this was David Sariff from Deus Ex: HR. I think it was the cyborg arm and the vest, mostly.
Kick-A Pick though, all the same.

Hehe... yeah, he's more the Corporate type. I have to admit, I liked him, at first. But I suppose that was the point.
Adam was hench enough for them all though... especially the way I played. But this isn't the place for such a convo.
As for the pic, I just love how everything seems so smooth and yet so sharp at the same time. Soft lines, but the detail is there, and the look on the guy's face is obviously someone who loves his job, criminal as it may be. Love the lighting effects, too. Especially on the right arm.
