Description

Here are the first five Libre Voyagers, the mecha of Freedom Squadron: Liberanger. The top row shows the Libre Oryx, the Libre Wolf, and the Libre Dragon, and the bottom row shows the Libre Leopard and the Libre Racer. And these voyagers won't be given the Cosmic Fury treatment. If anybody is to pilot these voyagers, it's either the Liberangers or nobody!

The Libre Wolf forms the torso and head of LiberenOh while four other voyagers make up the limbs. There are various ways LiberenOh can be formed. When I was drawing the Libre Wolf, I took inspiration from both the Tyrannosaurs Zord from Mighty Morphin Power Ranger and the Shishi Voyager from Uchu Sentai: Kyuranger (AKA, the Lion zord from Cosmic Fury). Although, I ended up drawing it with its hind legs in the air. I didn't want to make its front legs too long since that is where two other voyagers connect to form arms.

You will notice that the other three voyagers in the picture based on animals do not have tails, and then is because their tails are where they connect with the Libre Wolf to become arms and legs. So I didn't bother adding them. I could have them fold down to their backs when forming a limb, but I decided not to bother. I think they look great even without tails.

I did make a base for each voyager that forms a limb to make sure they were all the same size as they all serve the same purpose. Plus, it will make things easy for me when drawing LiberenOh's various formations.

Notes:

1. The Libre Leopard has shurikens on its forehead, its back, and its sides as it is ninja-based. It is also given a ninja mask.

2. The Libre Racer, along with the Libre Jet are the only main Libre Voyagers that are not based on animals.

3. All of the animal-based voyagers have the same eye color as their counterparts in Kyuranger. The Libre Racer has yellow headlights just as the Ookami Voyager had yellow eyes.

4. When forming an arm, the horns on the Libre Oryx can come together to form a sword. Its head also is able to rotate in order to be used as a sword properly. When forming a leg, they come together and rest of its back.

5. The hair on the Libre Dragon is based on Dulcy's hair from Sonic the Hedgehog.
