Description I added highlights... I hope it looks better now. (I like the ones on the mask )

I like these ones a lot. I`m not all girly drawings, I`ve improved a little and now I can make things with a little bit more rough appearance. Not mermaids, fairies and cute girls , donΒ΄t get me wrong... I love fairies since I`m a little girl, but when it comes to drawing, you should be more flexible and try new things.

Made completely in PS 7, no pencils no tablet, just brushes and the pen tool.

Wow! I like this alot! And I agree with you, it's cool to see someone draw a female pilot, it's not very often you see that.
Actually, I'm currently working on a project were there are some characters that are female projects. And also one that is a flight engineer.

It is great. I love the shadows in the mask, and I can say that you have done a great job. I think like you, that not all drawn girls should be elves or mermaids. Fun to see that I am not alone with thinking that girl-pilots are cool...

Personalmente creo q este es el dibujo con un acabado mas "pro" q he visto en tu galeria! Realmente es muy buen, y en este conseguiste un color muy uniforme, limpio y muy bien trazado. Mi opinion en este caso eske el dibujo carece d luces y brillos... Por lo demas t felicito por tan buen trabajo conseguido!!

Pues puedes poner una luz q venga d izkierda o derecha, eso como tu kieras... En el casco puedes darle mas fuerza aΓ±adiedo brillos "duros"... En especial en el cristal, ahi ganara mas efecto. Pero tampoco t calientes mucho la cabeza pq asi ya se ve bien .

i don't understand how people do stuff like this in PS. I wanna learn. I can do photo editing and manipulation but i'm lost when it comes to painting.

Start by doing it by hand (pencil), then scan it and make simple colors with flat shadows. We can take it from there after that.

The pilots and the female soldier were done directly in PS, but the rest of them were done in pencil first (just the lineart)

Of course you have seen it. I submitted it like 3 months ago and I took it out from the gallery because it is for a videogame, so I submitted it to ask for advice and took it out, because I didnΒ΄t have permission to publish it, but now I do

hahaha, with a loooot of patience.... Thank you so much for your comment. I used a pilot picture as reference, because I had no idea how a mask should be, in fact I donΒ΄t know if itΒ΄s ok, because I couldnΒ΄t see much detail in the pic I chose, I think I invented some wires . Anyway... I used the brush (3 pixels) and started drawing with the pen tool.
