Ariel and her daughter,Melody, meet Wendy and her daughter, Jane!This was drawn by me and is an original creation.
This is the first drawing from a top secret project I am planning, would love feedback to see if I should go through with it.

Only one was willing to protect her daughter by whatever mean necessary, even if taking it too far. The other did nothing about try to "keep her children's spirits lifted" with silly/stupid bedtime tales.

The problem I have with Disney sequels is that although there were a few good ones (Return to Neverland among them) usually, these were made simply to make money. Disney didn't care about how good they were, they sold on brand name marketing. Seriously, watch an original Disney movie, then watch its sequel and see how many inconsistencies you can spot between them.
The Little Mermaid II: Melody learns the exact same lesson as her mother.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame II: Quasimodo gets a girlfriend.
Bambi II: Bambi hangs out with his dad
In fact, Atlantis: Milo's Return, Cinderella II: Dreams come True, and Beauty and the Beast: Belle Magical World all at least seem like the scraps of aborted TV shows. That's right, these are TV show ideas Disney threw in the garbage can because they weren't good enough.
Of the sequels that actually do put forth an effort, Jane is easily deserving to stay in Disney cannon. The great character development that Anastasia goes through in "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time" is also worthy of staying in cannon as well. I do enjoy the humor of The Lion King one and a half though.

(Jane to Melody): I've had to grow up during wartime, actually participate in one of his adventures, saved my own childhood, and saved Peter himself. What did you do that your mother didn't?
In case you didn't realize, Jane is a great character for a Disney sequel, and I think that Melody is a giant retread of her mother.

Yeah I think so 2. I would love a crossover movie or special in which they meet. The new disney generation. (they are the only humans girls, esmeralda has a boy, wendy also has a boy next to jane, the humans in lady and the tramp have a boy also, counting animal new gen kids there are 4 more girls, the 3 pups of lady and the tramp and simba's cub, the only guy is the son of lady and the tramp (im not counting kovu from the lion king 2 becouse he istn really scars son) bla bla bla
anyway yeah they really would be best friends

Ok! The only sequels (Disney anyways) that I actually liked were TLK II, etc. But I do love Jane.

I loved all the sequals who had new gen kids as main characters (Lion King 2 Little mermaid 2 peter pan 2 and lady and the tramp 2) There arent any sequal I dislike though They just arent nearly as good as the originals but stil fun to watch I think. Seeing how bambi grew up is cute, seeing the 3 doofus soldior friends of mulan finding love is great, seeing quasimodo finally getting a girl is hart warming, seeing shanti meeting balo is funny, seeing the evil stepmother getting her hands on a magikal wand to change what happend is interresting etc. I dont hate the sequals like most people do But I do like the originals better. (with exception of Peter pan becouse I liked the darker side (war and a child losing her childish side which is very sad)and the tomboyish girl Jane better ) I feel Like I will be killed by avid wendy fans XD Though I do love adult Wendy.

Well, I am a shipper of Wendy/Peter and the second Peter Pan ruined that for me.

Actually If you would have read the book you would have known from the start that Peter and wendy dont end up together in this sequal disney is not to blame for ruining a shipping. I loved the sequel from peter pan. The rough messege about being forced to grow up in war was very realistic and beautifully done. There are indeed some bad to horrible disney sequels out there. Peter pan 2 and the little mermaid 2 arent part of those. I love this drawing by the way. Its very beautifull.

Well ture, but she did grow up and wendyxpeter can be like a childhood shipper. And okay I will check it out. Also I like for some reason Peter pan and Alice since Alice is an impossible thinker and Peter is the boy of entreal childhood.
