This is for phancan1.If after the "All Engines Go" reboot and the Marc Forster live-action feature that can be the grand finale to the original Thomas & Friends series (The people working on it would say "We would like to leave the original Thomas series to the fans, so they can make passion content for it and live on it's legacy, but I think it's time to make a new reboot that has the core appeal"), I personally think a new "Thomas the Tank Engine" reboot set in an alternate continuity, with a 2D/3D blend in effects (Like "DreamWorks' The Bad Guys" for example), and with music from the original series as well as creative control for some new themes can work out (Possibly new songs, and probably not too much use of the original series songs or instrumentals as this idea is not a sequel series to "Thomas & Friends"), called "Thomas the Tank Engine Again". This would not be a sequel show to "Thomas & Friends", and the original series would have it's entire back-catalogue with all the seasons, movies, disc with music videos with all the songs and Jack and the Pack mini-series released on a home video format (It's hard to think since DVDs are not quite as mainstream as before). It would be partly treated as like a new adaptation of The Railway Series, as well as elements from the original TV series.
Overall, I think this would be a nice reboot.
