Hi,

Here’s a drawing of DC’s Trinity or Batman/Wonder Woman/Superman. I honestly think this is the drawing I spent the most time working on so far. And since I’m really happy with how it turned out, I guess it’s a good thing!

I really wanted to try something new this time. Unlike my usual inking which first and foremost relies on huge black shapes, I almost entirely avoided using them this time (only some foreground objects and Batman have some black on them). Instead, I drew a lot (a lot!) of hatching. Unfortunately, it’s a very time-consuming approach. I also experimented with new textures, defining the smoke or everything that is rusty.

I decided to leave more room for colors. In my opinion, less black shapes also mean more options for different coloring styles. I’ll certainly give it a try, but if you want to color this piece as well, please send me a note for a better quality version.
