I understand this pairing in an arranged marriage setting, as that would be completely in a "pure blood blah blah blah" thing, but romantically, it's kind of weird. They ARE cousins, afterall.

Well, people see KibaHina as a pairing, but have they ever connected in a way like love ? No, other that ' You are my comrade ' kinda love NO. So why I think NejiTen isn't, it could be possible they'd take a liking of eachother in the end. BUT think about it so is NejiHina + it's incest so it makes no sense AT ALL. Neji hates(hated) the main branch and his jobis to protect Hinata, if he wouldn't have to I think he would STILL hate her. And then we have Hinata. Simple to say she loves naruto and has never shown any interest in Neji THAT way. If you think about it now almost every pairing we know is crack. So is LeeTen, ShinoHina(WTF) and was pisses me off THE MOST is KibaHina, that's the only pairing I hate Kiba for. As for NejiTen, mwah It'll happen or not. Really simple.

Incest is sex between people too closely related to marry. Cousins can get married in naruto, and in Japan, and in most of America too actually. XD
And they would only be 'retarded or summin' if they both had those genes. Thats the only reason that only happens in family-marriages, because if one person has some bad genes, his cousin probably has them too.
Conversely, that means if one person DOESNT have them, his cousin probably wont either.
If you look at the Hyuuga clan as a whole for more than a minute, you'll see that they've been inbreeding for a while. That's why they all look exactly the same and everyone has Byakugan.
