yeah, some people prefer this one. It's all a matter of taste. I like both as well....I guess I like the other one cuz it's finished. But i really like the crop of this one
and yeah I use a tablet. I used to use a mouse, but now I've been spoiled by pen pressure

Amazing definition in the face, i mean just spectacular, you can even see that the face is rounded if you compare the two eyes.
I would put more definition into the ear, it seems like the head as a whole should be well defined compared to other parts
and the stlye is great, but around the coller it seems a bit sloppy. The shadow doesnt exactly match up but it's incredibly close.
As a whole great picture. Hopefully it's link because as soon as i saw it I thought "sweet, fan art of link"

thats what I was aiming for...but the eyes gave me so much trouble....so I opted for a somewhat animated look on them
