Why must I always have an exploding planet....*shrugs*

Now I could never get the exploding moon to quite fit properly, the best placements for it always seemed to make it look like it was crashing into the main planet. Which was not what I wanted, and If it for somereason still looks that way, please tell me. But even if it doesnt, please help me with any tips on how to give this picture better depth. I'm Having a hard time trying to figure out where and how to position objects so that they appear a certain distance from one another, so any suggestions/critiques on this matter would be much appreciated.

this looks amazing. as for your moon, it might help if the explosion was not occurring on the side directly opposite the planet.

Hey, would it be alright if I used your brilliant picture for a skin I am making? No profit will be made on either of our ends, but I promise to give you credit. Please reply via email (darkmetal@cox.net), thank you.

amazing piece you got here . like the others said , needs a shadow to show that the moon isn't colliding with the planet if that is what you want

apart from that it is great , keep up the good work

Oh noes! You blew up the death star!

One thing is the light caused by the explosion is missing. Seems like the lighting on the planet is coincidence.
I think you should show the textures used for the planet, that is one amazing thing.
I think the placement is fine. Could be slightly farther down.(Rule of thirds .).
kk? That enough critisicm for you?

I'd love to know how you worked the fire into the moon, but I suppose that would be too much to ask. Either way, great work.

This is cool! I like the planets and the look how the moon is slowly shattering to pieces. JulianCallens had a good thought about creating a shadow of the moon over the planet, but I think that theres much bigger distances in question. One thing to show off the distance and the thing that the moon isn't crashing the planet would be to move the moon that it doesn't cover the planet, but it may not be in question if that's the way you wanted to set those planets. Other thing would be to move the moon to the shadow zone of the planet, I think it would create that feeling too that the moon is just falling apart, and not impacting the planet. And third, would it seem to uncrash the planet if you could turn around the moon, that the fiery tail of that shattering could be pointing towards the planet, and not in the way where the moon would be coming from, if it would be crashing the planet. I hope you understand my opinions, they aren't not great, just trying to help you out dude. Keep up the good work.

Perhaps if you could place the moonΒ΄s shadow over the planet, it would help to understand it is not crashing on it.

This is an awesome piece of work.
I’d like to see the exploding planet flipped to give the appearance that it’s exploding on impact with the other planet, more of a collision. Of course the other planet would need a few mods.
But none the less, this is really cool.

I like how you have the glow of the exploding moon on the planet. I think that gives it the depth you want. However, where is that beam that is causing the moon to explode coming from?

I dont know, maybe it was just one heck of a mind bullet......the cause of the explosion is for you to decide
