This is my Enrty for ShaunsArtHouse Crossover Competition:
Your Crossover Competition Begins Now!!!First prize: ONE THOUSAND DA POINTS!Second prize: TWO HUNDRED DA POINTS!Third, Fourth and Fifth prizes: ONE HUNDRED DA POINTS EACH!How to enter:1 - Choose at least two of your favourite movie/game/comic franchises. For example, two that would mix well would be Pacific Rim and the Godzilla/Kong universes.2 - Create at least one new art piece or write a story about what happened when your two franchises came face to face. If you choose to make an art piece, please include at least a paragraph in the picture description summarising what happened between your franchises. Did they get along? Did they fight?3 - Post a link to your entry in the comments of this Journal by 04/07/23 at the very latest. That gives you two months but we all know how quick that time will pass so get cracking ASAP :)Once all entries are in, all those that entered will have to send me a Note voting for who you think should win. Remember that as usual, you cannot vote for yourself You'll have a week to get your votes in before the winners will be announced.P.S. Crossover between: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Control

The Story:
Don’t Touch Anything… Normal

"Are you kidding me? I thought he was bad enough before," huffed the young Sergeant, named Gaz.

Whatever Laswell might have replied died behind teeth snapping as another blast sent them flying - no explosion, just that little bastard somehow.

"How the hell is that muppet pulling this off ?" Captain Price shouted over.

"He most likely came into contact with an Object of Power or an Altered Item, but there are other options. FBC," came as an identifier as faces snapped to the stranger among them.
"If you can hold off his cronies, I'll work the primary."

"And who the hell are--"

No idea who the hell she was or what the FBC was, but you know what...

Decide WAY later if it was a comfort or terrifying that the redhead aired a quiet little sigh and admitted, "I wish I could say this was the strangest thing that had ever happened to me."

She did glance as she maneuvered.

"Has anybody noticed any mists? Any contact with bronze hammers? Metallic or amber crystals? Well... Just in case, if you've made any wishes recently, might want to rescind it. And... Try not to touch anything... normal."

Graves might be a resourceful little weasel and a cockroach of a survivor, but Jesse Faden was no slouch - in her world or any other…
And courtesy of her ol' pal Polaris and The Board, it wasn't the first time she'd found herself a stranger in a strange land, fighting the impossible and a horde of followers with colleagues she didn't know and couldn't trust.

However she'd gotten through spacetime this time, whether anything or anyone had gotten through with her, she'd figure it out.

Although it had been a while. And it had been a LONG while since the redhead went toe-to-toe with anything or anyone that had her working THIS hard.
