Very cool, especially with the unconventional media!

"To thine own self, be true."
-Shakespeare... or maybe his sister, but I digress.
I love your color work. And the clever way you transformed the flaw lines in the marker media into texture...
Well done.
You are being watched.

I think this is beautiful! I am proud to see another woman who is comfortable and confident in herself to do such a portrait.

this is brilliant! i can't believe they're done with sharpies! do you first break down the colors of a photo in photoshop, or is it just from your head? (just curious) anyway, keep up the rawkn stuff!

thank you! I just work from photographs. I don't take them into photoshop... I'm an idiot with computers.

I see a definite progression after looking through your gallery.
The layout of this is much more attractive, and even your signature looks better.
You should look into Adobe Illustrator and take up the hobby of converting your sharpie pics over to vector graphics then see where that takes you.
You might find this huge world of print where you could make them massive and light them from the back or something.
Just a suggestion.

The pose and face, expressive and interesting. Two descriptive words never fit a subject better. I really like this particular one of you, seems to exemplify some things.
Again, the neutral background here does something nice to set this off. The heavy black is impactful, I think the border was a right choice to go along with that.
I notice its in pop art. Reminds me of what I said about these sharpie works when you started them, how they reminded me of peter max.
