Ahahah!! XD Thank you! Malefor is one of my favourite dragon (if not my favourite).
There is actually a story behind the reins. I was imagining a scenario where Malefor is defeated by Eon who decides to punish the evil master by putting on him a pair of enchanted reins that basically keep at bay the powers of the dragon. If Malefor wants to be free again, he must follow Eon and do what he says (more or less), and hope that the old hag will eventually release him.

Yep, Malefor will appear in Season 3 of Academy next year. I hope he at least makes a cameo at the end of Season 2 in October X3
