I used Caran d'Aches (watercolors pastels) and windsor & newton watercolors (pans)

hm, i'll try to remember the names, gonna go to an art shop next week, so this is a good reference xD. but i'll have to start with something not expensive just to try how all this works .

If you are interested you can find the caran d'aches pencils not only into the boxes but also you can buy theme one by one.
The same for the watercolors boxes, but for watercolors I recommend you to buy a little box for begin, like this one [link]

i was already thinking on buying the pencils one by one, i remember that i've seen those in the shop and got very curious. then i found out that buying them per unit is much cheaper .
and a small watercolor box - agreed completely. i don't need huge amount of colors if i barely know how to use it .
by the way, your english is quite fine . i don't think it's monster at all, it's perfectly understandable, you know ^^. my native is russian, so i don't even think that you have to forgive yourself for anything at all ^^
