Man, it's taken me ages to get this one up.Anyway, here's Ken's profile.
I wanted to give him a mature look, but not make him too much like a late teenager/early adult. I had a design for him in mind during the fourth story, and after I watched "Big Hero 6", I noticed that Hiro closely matched how I envisioned Ken. So I used Hiro a lot for reference when I was drawing this. Of course, I didn't want to copy him completely, but I needed some inspiriation.
As for his age, he's fourteen.

To be honest I can't picture a deinosuchus getting shot in the eye, or an ichthyornis getting shot in the wing without dying.

Wow! Ken looks really cool! Now I've got a better idea on how he looks in the fourth story. I hope he and Ali will return to the Great Valley someday (asides from you-know-when). He and Aylene are so cute together!
