Description
Man, do I hate uploading something. It's like a test; I feel okay about it, but I always feel I'm forgetting something...Ah well, here's my latest piece. I took the no line-art idea that people liked last time, and did it with normal shading. Which is better? This, or cell shading? Or should something completely different come into play?
Well, comments and critique are more than welcome!

It's a pop tart! Haha no. In all honesty, I really love the colors in this, the darker tones with the shading and highlighting and everything! But the color itself seemed familiar. Then I remembered that my favorite pop-tart flavor was the purple with blue stripes one (the ones I can't seem to find anymore for the past 6 years) and I instantly had to say "pop tart!"
With no lines, I'm really liking it! This is a huge advancement from the "Unarmored Justice" pic you did! Excellent job!

Hmm, I don't think she'd be a very good pop tart. I think if you tried to bite into her, you'd get less of a fruit center and a lot more of a verbal tirade
But good luck on your quest to find that lost breakfast pastry!
Thanks a ton! I still don't know which looks more ascetically pleasing, but tis the cruelest of questions! To line art, or not to line art.

Haha I'll try
Personally, I can't really decide on one because I like both styles. I think it depends on what's being drawn. A more comical image might include line art where as a serious toned image might have no lines.

duuude this is sweet.
Honestly I can't speak on the behalf of shading because I'm a lazy ass. However just to try, I think normal shading with subject such as sexy robotic women works pretty well since it would emphasize the "Shiny" factor.
Though as for further critique the only that really bother me is her feet, while I know she is a synthetic, her way of locomotion doesn't look too stable.
Other than that this is pretty damn awesome, and I like how you did the head piece there with that one eye.

Thanks a ton!
Alright, alright, so this works better for metal? And cell shading would look alright on organics? Maybe I should try another squishy drawing then...
Hmm, alright, I will definitely make note of that! Must make the next one's legs look more... practical.
Thanks again! The head was honestly my favorite part overall, both shading and coloring. So maybe I dumped in a little too much time in it
