Lots of my titles have been referencing this particular part of We Hold On lately - straining against a fate, coffee breaks - But it's an applicable song!

Meet Esther Maston, one of Altari's three sisters and the one that was banished from Kestane by their mother for going against the Guild's principles. Her family's betrayal came as a shock, but as she fled the country she learned to fight against her fate and find her happiness elsewhere. Suffice to say, she did manage to find it!

Despite her acceptance of the situation, she still wants to reconcile with her brother and sisters someday. She's been writing them a letter every year since she went eastward, but never got anything in return. She may be more lenient on her siblings, but she does not want to see her parents again. Especially since she knows that her siblings were merely loyal to them, but her parents acted on their own volition and had no one forcing their hand to commit this terrible banishment.

Thought it was time for a larger picture again, because how am I ever gonna learn how to draw them if I never practice?
