This is so laughable! Of course you can choose whether or not to give birth (I don't support abortions but those are an option). Also, you can choose not to get pregnant (except rape). You (imagine you're female) married and the man WANTS a child and you don't want to give birth? Then ADOPT a child! Wow! Such insights!Related content

How about we just kill every human being and there won't BE a population problem? Like it is with cats and dogs. If no one picks them up in a certain amount of time, the shelter kills them. Since Earth does not need us, don't imagine that it can't live without us, then just kill everyone.
Imagine if someone were to kill you because you were taking up space? Say they said they had to remove you so someone less fortunate could live how you're living? And who is to say who is more important?

Unborn babies don't nesscicarily feel from what I have read....
I hope I'm not offending you for saying /my/ opinion or anything.... but how would you like to be locked in a cage with some food being thrown at you like they had been doing in some parts of Europe? They just discovered another orphanage like that a while ago.

And...I like me chance at living and wouldn't like me parents to have killed me before I was born. I'm just wanting other babies to feel the joys and sufferings of life themselves.
But do people try to change those orphanages. I'd rather be alive in that situation and try with all me might to get OUT. Life means the ability to change, in death you don't have that.

Read yalls debate on the abortion issue. i kinda agree with fhug on this one. I dont agree with lining up all pregnant women for forced abortion or even the 'I cant have a baby! I'll never get back into a size 00 with all that stubborn baby fat!' reasons for getting one. What i agree with is.....say you are far below the poverty line(i've lived just on or below it for two years now so just somewhat under is no excuse to me) and have been raped or abused. or perhapse while carrying a planned(or unplanned) pregnancy your body undergoes some kind of trauma which polutes the womb and becomes a danger to the baby.
Hell even when adoption may just not be possible. There are places where leaving the baby at the firestation or police station does not mean automatic adoption.
I would like to think that whatever the circumstasce i would carry any pregnancy as far as my body allowed, but somehow i doubt i would if i had not made the choice to mate on my own. It seems selfish but i dont think i could raise a rape baby without doing psycological damage to myself and the child and the damage that giving it up for adoption would do to me would probably be enough to break me....for me it would be kin to abandonment i think. We all have our reasons.

I meant the majority of society believes it's wrong. Me, I believe that if you're about to die of starvation and one of your group members is dead, it's okay to eat him/her since that person serves no other purpose.

Indeed. This is a world of choices, and it's not like there actually exists a corrupt government that forces people to 'mate' and stuff.
I'm not really for abortions either, but I fall short at two things; I'm not a woman, so I can't really understand the issue from their POV, and again, it's a world of choice.

I don't like the ideas of abortion because I don't believe in killing innocents. Now killing when you or your country/family/friends are in danger is different. You should find other means to protect, but if you have to kill to protect, then it's a dark necessity.
