Description
Dark is not deepNor is the deep dark
In the deepness of me soul
Shines a light
Battered and bruised
But not bloody
And thrown around the place
As others might perceive
Darkness is mysterious
And so many mistake it for depth
Look at the sun
And retain your current eyesight
Then tell me the greatest thing
Is the new moon
Which has no light
Yet you can stare at it for hours
Harder it is to know happiness
Than sadness
Those that have happiness
And focus on it
Though their lives are pain
Are the true one's with depth
So show me not another poor poem
About cutting
Or being abused
Show me one with pure sunlight
And laughter to warm the soul
Throw the others away

dark is what i do and i am emo but i dont cut and im not depressed because to me emo is a style not a disorder.
