My darkness means so muchMy light, so little
We are all prisoners in this nighttime of life
We are going nowhere and happy where we stand
We never think of a brighter tomorrow
For today is all we have and it’s the best
Like that piece of pizza
How hungrily I yearn for the light time of yore
But that is not coming back
And darkness reigns now and forever
The bullets fly
Screams erupt
And this isn’t the battle field
It is the mind of the complacent
The unmoving, uncaring soul
That is how one’s future is ruined
By the one that won’t look to tommorow
