Well. Your not the brightest person in the world. This isn't Frankendolling. It's called being new to basing.Β
Please if you don't like this being done to your bases, don't make bases.

This is not frankendolling. Taking parts from other bases/ art and mashing them together is frankendolling, kinda like frankenstein with all the different piecesΒ

I mean, if you make a base for people to use, they can logically use them for whatever they want. If your principles get offended at how people use them... then perhaps it would be best if you didn't make bases? V:

This isn't frakendolling.
Frakendolling is the act of taking pieces of various works and putting them together to make your own. Hence the name rooting to Frakenstein, the monster made by stitching various body parts together.
This here, is just being lazy with a base.

Is it a frankendoll if the hair conforms to the head shape like its flat attatched with no 'poof' on it

Not a problem.
It seems the community is mal-informed as to what these terms mean, hmm...

Usually, it's a doll with no shading, lines still showing, flat lines, etc. Usually, something that takes 5 minutes is considered a frankendoll. If you need more information, let me know!

Aurafox2 In reply to ElixPixels [2012-03-26 04:14:24 +0000 UTC]
I usually don't use much shading in mine... but just that won't make it a frankendoll, right?
π: 0 β©: 1
ElixPixels In reply to Aurafox2 [2012-04-03 11:43:47 +0000 UTC]
Nah. Frakendoll is what's shown above. Minimal shading, lines are still exposed. If you need to, do some research.

Ew, indeed. It makes me shudder to see it. And I nearly killed myself making that example

vicky23135 [2011-09-26 06:43:39 +0000 UTC]
So Frankendolling is when you leave the lines still showing? I always thought it was when you mixed two different bases together o^o;;

That's frankenbasing. But it falls under the same concept.
