I WISH I could just say that and be all cool, but I can't.
SPOILERS FOR INHERITANCE!
So, because I was bugged off that they didn't even KISS, I made them. Because I can draw and pretty much do whatever I want. (They also shed the tears they held back!!!!)
You can take this anyway. Either Arya stays with Eragon or they still part ways. BUT at least they kissed and we GET SOMETHING.
Not that I'm discounting the true name exchange... That was nice and I LOVED it. I just kinda waited...for THIS. And it never happened ;-;
Like, all I needed was a kiss, and Eragon leaving Alagaesia forever without Arya would have been less....heartbreaking?
And I want none of you "This didn't happen" losers. Obviously, thanks tips.
And yes, I still liked the ending.
And YES, Eragon is like eating her. Look at those tongues guys. None of that sweet kissing nonsense, they're going all out.
Would you have it any other way? ....Besides them doing the nasty. I'm sorry, young viewers who I may traumatize, but I regret nothing. You should all know this by now.

Yeah, that was the only real part of Inheritance that bothered me. I just wish they'd kissed ONCE. Or at least had a long embrace, or SOMETHING. I did love the true name exchange part, but still...

I was totally waiting for this too XD But I also thought the true name exchange was very personal and adorable, but my heart was breaking as I read the last 50 pages of the book...the ending is what I expected though, even if it's not what I (and many other people) wanted. I already miss him

I think the ending was kinda awesome. It is like what was written in the third book-"The tales of heroes never mention this is the price we pay" or some down-spirited emotional stuff like that. Murthag, Arya and Eragon must suffer to a maximum extend in order to secure the world's complete harmony. So they truly are Alagaesia's finest. Though there was no fucking problem for this scene to happen. Just kiss her, then depart her for the next five million years. What was the prob? Like Orik was gonna shout from a far WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO DOING THERE? or something? sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet...://

I think the ending is sort of awesome. It's like what was written in the third book-"The tales of heroes never mention this is the price we pay" or it was some sad stuff like that. Arya and Eragon must make the ultimate sacrifice and the world's harmony will be secured forever. Cruel as hellfuck but still awesome. Plus there was no problem for this scene to happen. I finished the book last night, and in all honesty...
Best. Ending. EVER.
It was heartbreaking, sad, but all the more neccessary for the Rebuilding of the Riders. If Galbatorix didn't fuck up you know where, Eragon would've been able to see Arya and the others.
I'm going to miss the inhertance Cycle, but to me its one of the greatest books ever written, next to Lord of the Rings (BOOKS) and The Chronicles of Narnia (BOOKS).

Hey, if you listen to Linkin Park, they have a song called 'Breaking the Habit' and it sounds a LOT like whatever the hell Arya feels like on the inside. So, here's the link, and I've found it's a good insparational song. No, all of Linkin Park's songs are, but most only for sad or wistful emotions, such as wanting what could never happen. EX: Eragon and Arya's supposed 'epic romance' O YEA, GEE, THAT NEVER HAPPENED! Anyways, here's the [link]

*nods* Yeah. I wasn't into Nu Metal really, but then I discovered LP. XD I've known them for 'bout five, six years now. They're a good band for staying out of drugs and whatnot, but I miss the lead singer, Chester, screaming into the microphone. Anyways, I can respect gaming soundtracks. My MP3 Player is full of Portal 2, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time and other games like Skyrim, whose Dovahkkiin Chant makes me think of a giant black and red dragon just coming out of a portal from hell XD But yeah. I'm probably just annoying you at this point. I'll probably just ninja my sister's microphone thingamajiggy and go from there. Peace off. HUAGH!

Gaming soundtracks like Assassin's Creed (Jesper Kyd), Resident Evil, Zelda and a bunch of others (plus movies, animes etc). Also love Two Steps from Hell, they make all the music for movie trailers and are really great to write to. I've got about 500 songs from them.

Ehhhhh, the ending to Harry Potter was great and had good pacing...the quality of writing in the epilogue was a set back, but I was still satisfied and definitely liked it far more than this.
Which was Paolini's 100+ page epilogue which dragged on.
