I WISH I could just say that and be all cool, but I can't.
SPOILERS FOR INHERITANCE!
So, because I was bugged off that they didn't even KISS, I made them. Because I can draw and pretty much do whatever I want. (They also shed the tears they held back!!!!)
You can take this anyway. Either Arya stays with Eragon or they still part ways. BUT at least they kissed and we GET SOMETHING.
Not that I'm discounting the true name exchange... That was nice and I LOVED it. I just kinda waited...for THIS. And it never happened ;-;
Like, all I needed was a kiss, and Eragon leaving Alagaesia forever without Arya would have been less....heartbreaking?
And I want none of you "This didn't happen" losers. Obviously, thanks tips.
And yes, I still liked the ending.
And YES, Eragon is like eating her. Look at those tongues guys. None of that sweet kissing nonsense, they're going all out.
Would you have it any other way? ....Besides them doing the nasty. I'm sorry, young viewers who I may traumatize, but I regret nothing. You should all know this by now.

I completely agree with you...that was a terrible ending and left me so frustrated! I mean..we all waited 12 years and 4 books for this kiss to happen and in the end...NOTHING! It's unbelievable...>__>

Even a goodbye kiss would be ok, but no, we could see at least this kind of ending...

This is beautiful. After a moment of admiring it, I suddenly got angry (again) that this didn't happen. After reading your description, I felt better. Maybe not happy, but I will content myself with this gorgeous piece and dream~

I'm still hoping that CP will write "Book 5" (sometime, anytime... grrr!). That he'll let Eragon come back to Alagaesia (despite Angela's fortune... grrr again!). And that we'll get our PERFECT Happy End!

Thank you, my lovely! This is just the kind of spark to the kindling so many of us needed. The electricity and the sheer vibrance of it is enough to excite the viewer. And simply beholding it, the work and toil put into this is evident, as well as the talent, once again. I knew that this would not disappoint.

HEY! HEY, ElizaLento! It's me again, so, umm, yeah! Me and my sister came up with an idea for a comic! We all know that Arya actually loves Eragon, due to scenes in Brisingr, plus the fact that she's with him in 90% of Inheritance (lol) so the comic was that Eragon was bathing in a river near Du Weldenvarden and Arya was wandering around, hoping to find him, AND GETS HER PERVERTED WISH

That might actually be kinda funny...but perhaps funnier if it was the other way around? Eragon reacting to a nude Arya and her reaction would be glorious. It could easily progress to a perverted Arya from there.
And now my mind is in the gutter.
And no problem, I enjoy replying, you're comments are quiet funny. And I take no offense, I'm not religious, so it's good. lol
I might draw my Inheritance Arya/Eragon sparring match comic first though. Just because I already promised I'd do it.

I WILL FACKING KILL PAOLINI. HE SERIOUSLY FACKED UP INHERITANCE.Oh, I wish he didn't go back on his word about Eragon 'being with one of noble birth.' I'm not a perv, but I kind of like that romancy stuff, considering I'm turning twelve and don't even have a romantic relationship. I DO have Skyrim, though... Anyways, epic as usual. Not too pleased with the ending but I see this pic and it makes me feel better. I love it, and I think that while CP may say all he wants that this is over ... I don't think that it is and I think that we will see Roran, Katrina, and Eragon-Arya-love (not just hints of love) in the future.

when i met Chris last week he said that he was definitely going to return to Alegasia... so.... THERE IS STILL HOPE! and i just finished Inheritance and felt the same way! i mean, i could have been perfectly fine with them leaving had they just kissed for cryin' out loud! or, ya know, if they hadn't had to part forever!
and i wanted Saphira to have a baby dragon.... haha maybe in the "return to alegasia" book Christopher was talking about?

welll.... prophecies aren't always concrete. maybe it's forever for someone, but not for Eragon. Since he's basically imortal, it could be kind of like forever for some of the people that he loves. However, he could come back! or, it can't really be that difficult for someone with a dragon to get there right? So... there's hope!
and... ya... he said it might be next month or it might be in 5 years, but he does plan someday to return

Well even though Angela told Eragon he would leave forever, Arya also said to Eragon that the future isn't set in stone in Eldest when they are on the rafts going to Elesmiera(or how ever you spell that). So why would CP bother having her tell him that if he didn't plan on having something come from it such as Eragon coming back.

I was pretty much hoping for a kiss during any scene of the book.
That part when she kissed him on the brow made me too excited. It was like "she placed a kiss---YESSS, FINALLLLYLYYYY---on the brow" AWWWWW. SO CLOSE!
